Evans explained how the covers work: "The covers are waterproof from the outside but also breathable; they allow moisture vapor to evaporate from underneath, so they reduce rust. They are the only covers that incorporate special materials to absorb condensation and water trapped underneath the cover, holding it away from the metal until it evaporates through the outer cover. In addition, long-life vapor corrosion inhibitors released into the enclosed atmosphere prevent oxidation. The four layers work together to reduce corrosion by as much as 90 percent over common covers - a design protected by three patents."
The first-of its kind line features a core of 20 products, ranging in color, trim and size: 35-inch cases, 46-inch cases, a 52-inch cases, a storage sleeve and three sizes of pistol rugs. Available exclusively online with prices ranging from $49 to $269, the Envelop cases are guaranteed with a 10-year performance policy.
